Does the SIM card have a public fixed IP address or a dynamic private IP address?
By default, the SIM cards have dynamic private IP addresses (IPv4).
To request the public fixed IP address service (Ipv4), the procedure is as follows:
- Log in to the IoT Portal (click here https://www.thingsmobile.com/login and enter your username and password)
- Click the number of the SIM card to see the “SIM card details”
- Click the “Request a public fixed IP address” button
- Click “CONTINUE” to confirm
Once you have made the request, wait for an email to confirm that the service has been activated.
The costs of the public fixed IP address service are as follows:
PERSONAL CUSTOMERS
- Activation: €30
- Monthly fee: €2.50
The prices include VAT

In order to activate a public fixed IP address, it is necessary to provide the source public fixed IP address of the device or web server that remotely connects with the device in which a Things Mobile SIM card has been inserted. Each additional source public IP address costs €5.00.
