Information about pay-per-use plans

You can choose between two types of pay-per-use plan: a pay-per-use plan without a subscription fee (for Personal and Business customers) and a pay-per-use plan with a subscription fee (for Business customers).

Pay-per-use plan without a monthly subscription fee

PERSONAL CUSTOMERS

For Zone 1 countries (including Italy, the rest of Europe, the United States and many other countries), the plan’s pay-per-use rate is €0.12/MB The minimum monthly charge is 5 MB in zone 1 (2 MB in the other zones) and it applies even if the SIM card does not use data traffic and/or only sends/receives SMS messages. See here for details of the other zones: https://www.thingsmobile.com/private/plans

A monthly fee of €0.30 is charged to access the network of each operator. It is charged the first time a SIM card connects in a calendar month. If no connection is made, there will be no charge.

The default multi-operator profile (TM-1) is assigned during the activation process. It costs €0.25 per SIM card to change a roaming profile.

Traffic is charged in increments of 1 kB with all operators except the following, with which it is charged in increments of 10 kB: Bahrain (Zain BH), Equatorial Guinea (Greencom), The Gambia (Africell), Israel (Hot Mobile), Malawi (Airtel Africa), Malaysia (Celcom), Moldova (Moldcell), New Caledonia (OPT), Oman (Oman Mobile), Pakistan (Warid, Ufone), Russia (Vimpelcom), Sri Lanka (Mobitel), Sierra Leone (Africell), Vietnam (Vietnamobile), Iran (MTN).

The cost of sending SMS messages from another operator to Things Mobile SIM cards (the country code of which is +88) depends on the operator’s rates. SMS messages can be received when there is credit in the account or data traffic on the SIM card.

For every account, a monthly fee of €1 is charged for use of the IoT Portal. The fee is only charged once each month, starting from 30 days after the activation of the first SIM card and regardless of the number of SIM cards present in the account. Subsequent activations do not lead to additional fees being charged.

Things Mobile SIM cards cannot handle incoming and outgoing voice calls.

The rates include VAT where due.
